Pair of Vintage Chinese Bowls
Item Details
Two hand-painted Chinese bowls, each in glossy white porcelain and painted in deep blue and white. The bottom of each bowl depicts a house on a cliff by a sea or lake with two small boats and an island in the background. The exterior sides of the bowls has Chinese figures in traditional garb along with floral designs and a bat. The rim of each bowl has floral designs against a geometric pattern. One bowl is larger than the other, and each bowl is marked ‘Made in Jingdezhen’ (景德鎮製 Jingdezhen zhi).
Condition
- there is very little wear on either piece.
