Antique Louis XVI Style Walnut Armoire

Item Details

An antique Louis XVI style armoire. The walnut veneered case has an oak secondary wood. It features a ribbon-ornament resting on the projecting cornice over a frieze carved with floral festoons. Directly below are two doors with bird-patterned, upholstery panels, which open to a five-shelf interior with two aligned, dovetailed drawers. The stiles are embellished with floral pendants and the armoire rises on turned, tapered legs. A key is included.

Condition

- there is slight discoloration/stains to portions of the silk panels; some scratches and discoloration to the finish around the right lower hinge; there is slight chipping to the lower portion of the feet.
