Vintage Deberny & Peignot French Letterpress Cabinet

Item Details

A letterpress cabinet from French type foundry Deberny & Peignot. This piece has a green metal frame, with 19 wooden drawers, each sectioned inside and with a metal handle. It maintains stickers to the exterior of the drawers.
Deberny & Peignot opened in 1923, a merger of G. Peignot & Fils foundry and Laurent & Deberny foundry, but was bought in 1972 by Haas Type Foundry.

Condition

Condition is consistent with age and use. Small scrapes and other minor wear visible to the exterior and front of the drawers.
