Porcelain Soldiers and Male Figurines Featuring Sitzendorf
Item Details
A group of porcelain soldiers and male figurines featuring Sitzendorf. There are four figures in total. This includes a soldier in a gold tone helmet with a red and black jacket and an instrument to his back; it contains the plaque inscription, ‘6 e’me Regiment de Dragons/ Trompette en Grand/ 1807-1809.’ Another soldier has red and gold tone armor with weapons to his side and the plaque inscription, ‘Regiments de Carabiniers 1810-1815.’ Another soldier features a black and red suit with weapons to his back and has the plaque inscription, ‘Mameluk de la Garde/ Capitaine 1813.’ There is also a porcelain male figure in a black hat and a white jacket with gold gilt; the underside reads Germany. The soldier figures contain Sitzendorf stamps to the undersides.
