Antique Wilcox & Gibbs Treadle Sewing Machine Cast Iron Base

Item Details

An antique cast iron treadle sewing machine base by Wilcox & Gibbs. This base features cast scrolling foliates with built in ’W’s on the sides, with an original openwork treadle below. It is topped with a separate unpolished gray stone slab with visible white veins and raw edges. It is marked ‘Wilcox & Gibbs’ and ‘Pat. Jan 25 1870’.
