A handwoven Afghani Baluch Tree of Life rug. The field depicts three domed buildings—each with two flanking trees of life, and two central trees. A palette of umber, sienna, scarlet, emerald, and plum stand against a deep indigo field. The field is bound by a compound unresolved border of repeating geometric forms. The rug is complete with a short cropped wool warp fringe. Unmarked.
