Item Details
A group of Reverend Herman Hayes (West Virginia, 1923-2012) artisan Folk Art basswood carvings. The larger piece portrays a male figure with top hat to his head and pipe to his mouth holding a child above his head. The smaller piece portrays a man wearing a top hat, with a wide grin on his face and his hands in his front pockets. Each piece is presented in unfinished basswood, a favorite of the artists. They are signed and dated 2001 to the versos.
