Two Antique Original Framed Covers of "Le Cri de Paris"

A pair of antique 1902 framed covers from the French political publication Le Cri de Paris. One is from the May 4, 1902 edition and is printed in a combination of both offset lithograph and woodblock methods. It depicts a woman sitting at a bar with a drink smoking a cigarette. The second is the cover of the March 30 and is printed in a combination of hand-pulled lithograph and woodblock methods. It depicts three curious figures, one leaping across the foreground. Both pieces are matted in white and presented behind glass in wooden frame with cast olive surface embellishments, silver tone finish, and hanging wires.

Condition

- light yellowing and foxing to papers. Text from verso can be seen through paper very slightly.
