A vintage map of ‘Le Vieux Carré’ or the French Quarter of New Orleans during 1928. This map depicts the French Quarter in a salmon pink tone with bright green and black accents on white paper. The map is marked ‘Le Viex Carre de Nouvelle Orleans, Over a Span of Many Years’ and ‘A Map Done in the Year 1928 by Lucile Gillican and Louis Andrews.’ The map features a decorative border with small vignettes of caricatures life in New Orleans.
