A cast iron ‘Speaking Dog’ coin bank by Shepherd Hardware Co. This bank depicts a seated young woman and dog, the female figure features moving arms while the dog’s head and tail move. The underside of the bank is marked ‘Pat July 14, 1885’ and features a locking hinged door with key.
