An original 1935 stone lithograph poster on paper by British artist James Ardern Grant (1885 – 1973), titled For London Drama and designed for London Transport. The poster depicts a woman posing dramatically as men fence behind her. The poster is signed in-plate by the artist to the lower right. It was printed by The Baynard Press and is numbered ‘Ref. No. 35/5451’ in-plate to the lower left. Presented behind acrylic glass in a composite frame with brushed silver tone finish and a hanging wire.
