An original 1935 stone lithograph poster on paper by British artist John Copley (1875 – 1950), titled For London Music and designed for London Transport. The poster depicts a conductor standing in front of a stylized orchestra. The poster is signed in-plate by the artist to the lower left. It was printed by The Baynard Press and is numbered ‘Ref. No. 35/5445’ in-plate to the lower left. Presented behind acrylic glass in a composite frame with brushed silver tone finish and a hanging wire.
