A well-preserved, James Dixon & Sons Sheffield pewter wine pitcher, made in England circa 1900. The pitcher has a tapering neck with bulbous cavern and narrow round foot. The handle is curved with a heart-shaped thumbrest and opening to the end of the hinged lid. Marked by the maker to bottom with numbers ‘37, 5 and 85’.
