A collection of hand-colored engravings on paper after James Pollard (1792 – 1867). Included are four prints on heavy rag paper after Pollard’s __St. Albans Grand Steple Chase, Plate 1_, St. Albans Grand Steple Chase, Plate 2, St. Albans Grand Steple Chase, Plate 3, and St. Albans Grand Steple Chase, Plate 4. Each print features inscriptions in the lower margins denoting the title.
Condition
- to fair; smudges visible on prints; pencil inscription to lower right margin; edgewear; some light discoloration and color fading; slight warping to paper edges.
