An oil on canvas still life by listed Florida artist Sonia Gil Torres (1936-). This tall narrow piece depicts a vertical arrangement of many-petaled pink, purple, and blue toned blossoms, and dark greenery in a blue vase, against a non-descript mottled blue background. It is signed in the lower left corner. This work is presented in a gold and black painted wooden frame wired for hanging. Please see related lot 17MOR012-074.
Condition
- frame is separating at corners; tape along edges of canvas is peeling off; frame is scratched.
