Charles Wysocki Limited Edition Offset Lithograph "Where the Buoys Are"
Item Details
A limited edition offset lithograph titled Where the Buoys Are by well-listed American artist Charles Wysocki (1928-2002) after an earlier painting. This depicts a sleeping older man in a rocking chair on a beach, next to a stern of a beached boat marked ‘Ezra Farrington Snipe, Bouymaker’ that has been heavily decorated with hanging buoys. It is signed in the bottom left corner, both in the plate and by hand, and numbered 1797 out of an edition of 2750. This work is presented with a single mat with a double French line, under glass in a wooden frame wired for hanging.
