A bronze sculpture by Maurice Guiraud-Rivière (French, 1881–1947), titled Dancing Nymph and Satyr. This Neoclassical work depicts a bacchante dancing with a satyr, each wearing a crown of grapes, with grapes at their feet. Signed in mold ‘M. Guiraud-Riviere’ at the base. The bronze includes a foundry seal from Etling, Paris. Mounted on a marble base.

Condition

The back left extended arm on the nymph has been repaired at the casting seam.
