A bronze sculpture by Marcel André Bouraine (French, 1886-1948) titled Penthesilea, Queen of the Amazons, circa 1930s. The Art Deco style bronze depicts a female nude archer in a seated reclined position, with bow in hand. The bronze includes a foundry seal and marked in mold by Susse Fres Ed.ts Paris. Includes a separate base.
