1988 Lincoln Fox Cast Bronze "Starshooter"
Item Details
A 1988 cast bronze statue by well-listed Colorado artist Lincoln Fox (1942-) with The Franklin Mint. Titled Starshooter this depicts a Native American hunter in a wide stance leaning back to shoot an arrow at the sky. He is depicted with two braids under a long-tailed feather headdress, an axe at his waist, and hide shoes. It is signed on the back ‘1988 FM Lincoln Fox’. This is presented with a lozenge-shaped mahogany base with fluted sides and protective felt feet. Artist, title, and date is stamped on a plaque underneath.
Condition
- some minor surface wear and minimal patina particularly seen in the fist.
