A bronze sculpture by Maurice Guiraud-Rivière (French, 1881–1947), titled Bacchante. The Neoclassical work depicts a female nude with a wide-eyed expression dancing with grapes at her feet and in a crown on her head. Signed in mold ‘Guiraud-Riviere’ toward the front of the base. The bronze includes a foundry seal from Etling, Paris. Mounted on a marble base.
