A collection of lithographs on paper after equestrian scenes by C. Aubry.
Featured are three works titled Equitation Anglaise 1658, Equitation Francaise 1733, and Ecole Royale De Cavalerie 1833. Depicted are various equestrian topics such as horseback riding, hunting, and riding equipment. Each print is decorated with a pale coloring to the center depiction, bordered by black colored details. The prints are each stamped with ‘C. Motte – A Paris Lithograph’ near the lower left. Works are presented unframed.
Condition
- to fair; smudges visible on prints; pencil inscription to lower right margin; edgewear; some color fading; pages show some discoloration due to age; some foxing near the borders.
