Barbara Kwasniewska Color Etching "Nefertiti"
Item Details
A limited edition etching titled Nefertiti by Polish artist Barbara Kwasniewska ( b. 1931). The image shows the queen seated on the floor with her hair hanging straight down. One arm is outstretched outside the scene and her other arm is emerging from behind the hair. The print has been executed in three colors: black for the hair, orange for her flesh, and a textured deep pink for the background. It is signed in pencil in the lower right margin, titled in the center and numbered ‘29/40’ in the lower left. It is matted in white and presented under glass in a thin silver tone frame.
