A framed vintage original pin-up calendar page. Miss April 1947 provocatively in a transparent raincoat with matching umbrella. The copyright date is ‘1946 Fawcett Publications, Inc.’ American artist George Petty (1894-1975) created pin-up drawings for Esquire between 1933-1956. His most famous image was used as the inspiration for the nose art on the Memphis Belle, the WWII B-17 airplane. The page has been matted on a gold background and is framed in a cherry-look frame ready for display.
