Pastel on paper

An original pastel on paper of Hand Fed by artist Thom Kapheim (20th century). This realism work depicts a man standing on a circus pedestal feeding a horse while a female form with long hair sits side saddle on the horse’s back. The piece is hand signed to the lower right corner and dated 1982. It is presented behind a beige mat under glass in a composite wood frame with wire to the reverse ready to hang. - image has toning around edges near where matting meets image; backing paper is punctured at bottom right corner and top center of verso; general wear to frame and pealing around edges.
