An original watercolor on paper. This piece depicts an empty street in a small rural village with stone buildings and wooden ladders in hues of yellow, orange, pink, purple, and blue. The imagery also includes a representation of ‘Walking Rain’, the name Native Americans in New Mexico gave to fast summer rainstorms. The piece is monogrammed ‘M.J.’ to the lower right by the artist, Mary Jane Milz, who’s work has been featured in galleries throughout New Mexico. The work is presented behind purple mat, under glass in a textured, black painted wooden frame with a wire to the verso ready to hang.
