Executed in 1978, this work depicts a moody silhouetted landscape, featuring a pair of bushy trees set against a glowing yellow sky. To the verso, the piece is signed, titled, and dated on the board backing. Presented unframed mounted under a white mat, protected by a clear vinyl wrap.
Edgar Hatten was born in Wyoming and lived most of his life in Los Angeles. He was a teacher at Swinbourne College in Australia, and in California at East Los Angeles College and Citrus College.
