A signed limited edition hand-pulled lithograph on Arches paper by well-listed and renowned Spanish Surrealist, Salvador Dalì (1904 – 1989), created in 1970 from his gouache painting titled The Cards Spell Death for Carmen. The image depicts Carmen’s head as the focal point, levitating above a table of tarot cards, blood spurting from her head and neck, eyes black with death. Skeletons float around the pictorial space, joined by a naked woman in the upper left. Artist signature is printed in plate and hand signed in pencil to the lower right. The print is numbered 61 in an edition of 125 (in Roman numerals) in pencil to the lower left, mounted behind a white linen liner with gilt fillet under acrylic glass, presented in a beveled wood frame with a distressed gold tone finish. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the verso. Included in the catalogue raisonné, The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali by Albert Field, field 70-1 O on page 150.

- foxing and light discoloration across print. Light wear to finish of frame.
