An original large watercolor painting on A. Millbourn & Co. fine heavyweight watercolor paper by well-listed English-American artist Basil Martin (Pennsylvania, 1903 – 1988). The painting depicts a minimalistic image of a forested landscape accented with thin, spindly leafless trees. The painting is unsigned, but the artist’s 2000 estate stamp is inked to the verso; this painting was acquired after the artist’s passing when his estate was dispersed.
