A handwoven Persian rug with purple border. This rug features floral, vine and palmettes motifs throughout the cream ground in blue/grey, tan, and burgundy. It has two floral guard borders and a wide primary border which repeats the field pattern on a purple ground, with overcast edges and a fringe to each end. The rug is unmarked.
