Item Details
An offset lithograph reproduction poster titled Put Them Across! after an original work by John Falter (American, 1910-1982). Depicted is a group of United States Naval officers carrying rifles over their shoulders and marching. Within the image, a message from Admiral Ernest J. King is calling for men to join the war effort. This piece is signed ‘John Falter USNR’ in print to the lower left. This piece is presented in a plastic sleeve with a cardboard backing. The poster was intended to recruit men during World World 2 into the Navy. John Falter was part of the United States Naval Reserve when he created the original poster.

- tear to left side of the poster; creasing throughout poster.
