A pair of airbrushed watercolor painting on paper of flowers by Shirrell Graves (1884-1954). Depicted is a palette of pink, green and blue to render tulips sprouting against a toned background. An artist signature is seen in the bottom right corner, while one painting contains a cursive signature of Shirrell’s last name at the top.
Condition
- edges of paper bent; tears to corners of paper; pencil inscriptions found in lower margins of paintings; discoloration present.
