A pair of airbrushed watercolor paintings of birds by Shirrell Graves (1884-1954). These two paintings on paper feature a tropical color palette of pink, green, and blues. Featured is a painting depicting a flamingo posing near an overgrowth of palm trees, while the other shows a pair of cockatoos nesting in branches with budding, white flowers. Each work is signed by hand to the lower right in graphite. Works are presented unframed.

- edges of paper bent; tears to corners of paper; pencil inscriptions found in lower margins of paintings; discoloration present.
