A limited edition offset lithograph untitled collage by well-listed British artist Peter Blake ( b 1932). The image shows children taken from various historical eras over a very stern looking Victorian parlor setting. Blake has had an extremely productive artistic career which was the subject of a single artist retrospective exhibit at the Tate Gallery in Liverpool. He is noted for his collages produced from post cards, prints and other media. One of his early artistic successes was the cover design for the Beatles’ album Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in 1967. The print is signed in pencil in the lower right and numbered ‘35/100’ in the lower left. It is matted in white and presented under glass in a thin silver tone frame.
Condition
print is in good condition. some scuffs to frame and minor scratches to plexiglass. not examined outside the frame.
