Blue and Gold Japanese Catle Shape Tower Clock

A tower clock. This piece is blue and gold in color and features a floral and scrolling foliad inlay pattern. This piece is composed of three layers, with the bottom layer in the shape of a castle base, a middle layer in the shape of a clock tower with a pendulum with victorian era artwork and a finial layer that has a shape reminiscent of feudal Japanese architecture with a figure sitting in the interior. A grouping of figures of people in feudal Japanese attire cycle through a landscape with the turning of the hands of the clock. There is no maker’s mark present on this piece.
