A large Chinese horse sculpture. This slipcast ceramic piece reproduces a Tang dynasty style horse, with a stylized, knotted mane and short tail, its ear pinned back and neck arched. Bedecked with floral medallions, the animal is mounted on a simple, square base. It is unmarked.

Condition

- there are several chips; the piece has been repaired in a few spots.
