Erté Limited Edition Serigraph on Paper "Libra"
Item Details
A limited edition serigraph on paper titled Libra by well-listed artist Romain ‘Erté’ de Tirtoff (Russian, French; 1892-1990). The work depicts an Art Deco visualization of the astrological sign libra. The sign is represented by a scale with the blindfolded face of Justice. Other elements include ‘lucky’ libran numbers (15, 7, and 9) and ruling days of the week (Friday and Saturday). The item is number 3 in an edition of 350. To the lower margin, the print is numbered, titled, and signed by the artist in pencil. Under a double layer of pink and black mat, the item is presented under glass in a decorative silver-tone and black frame. To the verso is a framer’s label.

- tears to paper backing; acrylic loose in frame along upper right corner; minor scuffing present to the frame.
