Hand-Colored Engraved Prints
Item Details
A pair of hand-colored engraved prints. Included are two prints on heavy rag paper. One print features an engraving by L. Mauduison after Albert Ludovici’s The Seasons: Summer. The second print was engraved after J. Haynes Williams’s Morning. They feature a hand-embossed plate mark, in addition to an inscription denoting artist and title in the lower margins.
Condition
- light smudges visible on prints; pencil inscription found on lower right corner; edgewear.
