Item Details

An antique hand woven Perisan Heriz area rug. This rug features a sizable central medallion in navy, cream, red and royal blue upon a brick red field with leaf and flower motifs. The rug has a spandrel design to either end in coordinating colors encased by a compound border. The border has alternating floral patterns in the same color palette and is complete with natural warp fringe to both ends. The rug has a tag to the underside of one corner marked ‘Made in Iran, Rug No. 7A2’.
