A Coreen Simpson signed costume Black Cameo brooch featuring gold-tone base metal with resin. The Black Cameo designed by Coreen Simpson in 1990 created a contemporary design in the American jewelry market which was absent. Per consignor, this piece was bought from the African Museum of Art at the Smithsonian.

- faint marks throughout; includes original Smithsonian paper box with signs of wear
