A set of three of an original four volumes (Vol. II missing) of Rev. George Miller’s History, Philosophically Illustrated, from the Fall of the Roman Empire to the French Revolution, published 1848 by H.G. Bohn of London and bound in embossed cloth hardcovers. George Miller (1764-1848) was an Irish Anglican priest and historian, who developed this work from a series of lectures he gave at Trinity College, Dublin.
