Set of Henri II Style Caned Dining Chairs

A set of Henri II style caned dining chairs. This set consists of ten late 19th century oak chairs. The chairs feature carved shell finials atop carved stiles. Spindles cross the backs, with arched detail in the top rail between each spindle. The seats are caned and the seat edges are carved. The chairs rise on fluted legs and ‘H’ stretchers.
