A handwoven Tabriz-style carpet runner. It features an allover herati pattern in a palette of periwinkle, indigo blue, pale blue, white and green on a scarlet field, with large flower head palmettes and serrated leaves. The runner has a compound border with floral meander and samovar patterns in the field colors. It has overcast edges and cotton weft. Unmarked.
