An oil painting on board portraying two brothers by Nadine Hoskins (1912 – 2010). The painting depicts two boys standing together posed for the artist, the taller boy has his arm draped around his brother’s shoulders.The artist has signed the painting at the lower right corner. It is presented in a gold tone frame with a black inner border. A wire is affixed to the verso for hanging.

Nadine Hoskins was a socialite and self taught artist who began her career showing at the Lowe’s Art Museums clothesline sales. Throughout her career she exhibited in New York, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and at the U.S. Embassy in Portugal, where she and her husband made their home in later years.
