A vintage Copeland Spode tea set in the Blue Italian pattern. Included are seven teacups, eight saucers, a creamer, a sugar dish, and a teapot.These vintage porcelain pieces are stamped with an oval Copeland Spode mark that was used from 1891 to 1970. The Blue Italian pattern was first introduced in 1816 and it features a combination of classical Italianate scenes inspired by the Grand Tour and a geometric border copied from 18th-century Chinese export porcelainwares.
