A signed first edition of Burbank Among the Indians by American artist E. A. Burbank, as told to Ernest Royce. This hardcover copy was published by Caxton Printers in 1944; it is bound in red cloth with black text and includes the original dust jacket. One of the front endpapers is signed ‘E. A. Burbank, Dec 23 1944’ in black ink. Burbank is known for his many portraits of Native Americans, including the only portrait from life of the Apache chief Geronimo, depicted to the front of the dust jacket.
