A World War I American Red Cross poster. This World War I era propaganda poster implores women to contribute to the war effort by knitting socks for soldiers. A sewing basket, complete with knitting needles and yarn, is depicted alongside the phrase ‘Our boys need SOX, knit your bit.’ This lithograph poster is printed on paperboard and marked ‘American Lithographic Co. N.Y’ at lower center.
