An original 1964 offset lithograph poster created by American Airlines to advertise travel to the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair. The poster features a reproduction of an illustration by listed American commercial artist Henry K. Bencsath (1909 – 1996), depicting a large globe in front of the city’s skyline. The poster is signed in-plate by the artist to the lower right. It is matted in green and presented behind glass in a black composite frame with a hanging wire. An original paper brochure from the 1964-65 World’s Fair is also included.
