An original 1964 offset lithograph poster created to advertise American Airlines’ flights to Chicago at the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair. The poster features a reproduction of an illustration by listed American commercial artist Henry K. Bencsath (1909 – 1996), depicting the city’s stunning skyline overlayed wth block letters that spell ‘Chicago’. The poster is signed in-plate by the artist to the lower right. It is matted in green and presented behind glass in a black composite frame with a hanging wire. An original paper brochure from the 1964-65 World’s Fair is also included.
