A vintage hand knotted Afshar area rug. The rug features a central medallion in a palette of deep blue, cream, red, and burnt orange that sits on top of an off white field with a deep red spandrel at each corner. The field is surrounded by a compound resolved border that features geometric and floral palmettes throughout in a matching palette and sits on top of a deep red field with a cotton fringe to either end. Unmarked.

- to fair; significant fiber loss to surface, some fraying and color loss.
