This assortment features six books, including a hardbound cover of The Art of Color by Johannes Itten, translated by Ernst van Haagen, and published by Reinhold Publishing Corporation in 1967; a softbound copy of The Documents of 20th-Century Art: The Blaue Reiter Almanac edited by Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc, with documentary by Klaus Lankheit, and published by The Viking Press in 1974; a hardbound copy of Dictionary of Abstract Painting by Michel Seuphor and published by Tudor Publishing Company in 1958; and a hardbound copy of Cultural Calendar of the 20th Century by Edward Lucie-Smith and published by Phaidon in 1979.

Condition

- edgewear throughout; some books have names written in black ink on inside of plastic sleeve; The Art of Color has worn plastic cover, “Elizabeth Hertz” written in black ink on front page, and includes a page of notes from previous owner; Dictonary of Abstract Painting has tearing throughout the dust cover that has been taped in some places.
